“I’m humbled by the outpouring of love and support I received yesterday,” said Lateefah Simon. “I knew from the beginning that it would take a village to run this race, but I never realized how big my village is. This community is special, and I’m committed to making everyone so proud. I look forward to getting out there to earn every vote so I can fight for these folks who are entrusting me with their voice.” ** \n **
